About Us

A couple of years ago, I was freshly postpartum with my second. We had just bought our first home months prior in preparation, with a decent yard I could picture my babies playing in. As the months warmed, I found myself outside in the summer sun- living the vision I dreamed of not long ago... but, something was missing. What started as a desperate attempt to find a piece of myself again, outside of being mama, quickly turned into a calling I felt in my heart. It was a single bed of Zinnias two summers ago that catapulted me into the world of blooms, bees, butterflies and indescribable joy. They were joined the following season by Dahlias, who quickly snagged the spot of my favorite (don't tell the Zinnias). As my Dahlias thrived, my passion only grew deeper. There is nothing like pouring your time, heart and care into something that rewards you so immensely. Kindness in Petals is a part of my heart I hope to share with everyone. Here, you'll find florist-grade flowers you may have never heard of, but will soon adore, as well as your favorite classics; all grown locally, hand arranged, chemical free and pollinator friendly- sent off with kindness.
